Chennai-based Advocate files a petition against Virat Kohli; accuses him of promoting online gambling


The lockdown period has been critical for celebrities and cricketers both offset and off fields. They are been dragged either in some controversy or have been trolled down due to their social media activities. The recent news drags in Indian Skipper Virat Kohli for his wrong decision of promoting online gambling.

A Chennai-based advocate files a petition against Virat Kolhi for the same reason and calls for his arrest. His petition states online gambling promotion as an illegal act that draws the young generation to indulge in wrong habits. He further adds the consequences of online gambling where the youngsters often end up losing a lot of money and as a result borrow money at high-interest rates. And If they are unable to repay, they end up taking wrong decisions for their lives. The advocate also mentions actress Tamannah Bhatia alongside Kohli in his petition. As per the reports, the petition was filed in Madras High Court and the hearing will be conducted on August 4th.

In context to gameplay, Virat Kohli will be seen in action as RCB skipper in the IPL 13th Edition tournament announced by BCCI. Fans are eagerly waiting to see his performance in IPL.
