Fan takes selfie with Haris Rauf: turns out the bowler had tested positive for COVID-19

 Every cricket fan dreams of clicking pictures with their favourite cricketer. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, a fan who took a selfie with Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf was in a shock after getting to know that the bowler had tested positive for COVID-19.

The fan after posting the picture on Facebook was inquisitive about the bowler not being a part of the cricket team which is to play T20 series in England. After a search, he found that Rauf was not a part because of him being tested positive for COVID-19.

As per the set precautionary and medical standards followed in Pakistan, a player is required to test negative in two back to back Covid-19 tests in order to be eligible to fly out of the country. However, cricketer Haris Rauf had tested positive in five out of the six tests he had undergone. Thereby, sending him into self-quarantine for 10 days and subject to a retest thereafter.
